Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson became deeply entwined after their first meeting. Ashley was only 17, was never in any kind of romantic relationship and was very cautious about everything. It was romance at first sight. Andrew prayed to God during New Year's Day, just before 2016 began. He asked God for one final favor this year, which was that Ashley accept his proposal and be married. Ashley decided to plan a wedding with a folk woodsy theme, which could truly reflect her as well as Andrew. To create their perfect wedding, the couple decided to take a little inspiration from the things they love. Ashley's family owned 40 acres in the backyard. Ashley went on a walk around the region and enjoyed herself on it all, from the path they took to the field, where the couple exchanged vows. Andrew, Ashley and their friends had already walked in the field several times before they started to get together. Personalization became important since almost everything involved DIY from the groom and bride. Andrew and Ashley's Dad made their seating area as well as the arch for the wedding ceremony. Ashley painted many of the decors. Ashley claims that, without Anna's incredible floral design the wedding would not have been as magical and romantic as I had hoped. Absolutely stunning.
